Meanwhile, these two teams made a good game with great rallies. It was impressive how Denden even showed how to save the ball easily in consecutive counterattacks.  She remained consistent in her digs against the cross-court hits of BaliPure opposite hitter MJ Philips.

Denden is known as the Iron Eagle and former libero of Ateneo Lady Eagle. She also served ten years in the national team. She was nicknamed Iron Eagle for her fearlessness, will to win, and refusal to give up on any shot. On her Instagram, she posted before that she “…used to be the weakling in the bunch.” Also, she has been told that she was too small for sports. However, this small girl became one of the respected volleyball players in the country. With her fierce and courageous fight to win inside the court, her dreams came true.

Choco Mucho and BaliPure game also became a flashback to Denden fans in her UAAP days.

Denden never lets the ball touches their court unless it reaches the outside line. Every ball, she saved counts and helps their team win in every competition. They lost too, but their team together with the phenomenal Alyssa Valdez always strikes back and went home with smiles on their faces.
