5th VP Choice Awards: Brilliant Skin Essentials & CEO Glenda Dela Cruz sweep Big Winner awards in business category
The 5th VP Choice Awards hailed Miss Glenda Dela Cruz as Entrepreneur of the Year and recognized Brilliant Skin Essentials as the Sunscreen Brand of the Year.
VP Choice Awards, on its 5th year, once again heard the Pipol’s voice as they recognized the excellent brands and the brightest stars, determined by the votes casted by the fans and supporters themselves and through the guidance of the panel of experts.
Following the theme Celestial Radiance: A Night of Luminous Elegance, on May 21st, VP Choice Awards marked yet another star-studded night and most awaited red carpet on its 5th year, considering the names and brands nominated by the fans and supporters themselves. VPCA released a total of 110 awards for this year’s event, recognizing excellent brands and the brightest stars across the industry.
Meanwhile, to determine the winners, the Pipol themselves and the panel of judges for the 5th VP Choice Awards—namely Maita Martinez, Lady Agua, Dr. Darwin Ferrolino, Jay Vincent Mateo, Peter Jan Icogo, Caz Edmunds, and Patrick Cabusay— played significant roles. The award-giving body produced by Red Entertainment and Village Pipol Magazine employed the following voting criteria in naming this year’s awardees:

Such titles acknowledge the brand and the person behind it who captured the attention of the pipol with their undeniable business tactics.

Since establishing Brilliant Skin Essentials Inc. in July 2016, the brand has consistently pursued its mission of giving Filipinos their best skin. With its reigning success through the years, the brand has caught the Pipol’s eyes. The Entrepreneur of the Year at the 5th VP Choice Awards is the woman behind Brilliant Skin Essentials.
Miss Glenda had started the business because of her severe skin eruptions. Due to Glenda’s perseverance and innovation, her small online business magically turned into a big brand loved by the Pipol!
