4th VP Choice Awards: realme, itel Mobile, Samsung, Axgon, and Sharlene San Pedro are big winners in the Tech category!
Winners for the Technology category are officially announced at the awards ceremony of the 4th VP Choice Awards. This happened last March 29, 2023, at the Glass Garden, Pasig City.
The technology award in VPCA aims to recognize the products and services of the Top Technology brands that come top of mind of Pipol. Mobile brands Samsung, itel Mobile, and realme are among the big winners in this category. While, Axgon, Lazada, TCL Electronics, and online streamer Sharlene San Pedro come victor as well.
VP Choice Awards acknowledges the reigning finest and Pipol’s favorite from the travel, lifestyle, entertainment, technology, and business industries. The 2022 installment welcomes the theme Supernova: Our Brilliant Burst of Light. It signifies embracing our burgeoning blast after an era of compromise. It also signals the return of the much-anticipated red carpet and awards night.
realme – Hall Famer, Pipol’s Favorite for Mobile Phone Brand of the Year!
realme was once again named the Mobile Phone Brand of the Year! The mobile brand was voted by Pipol to emerge victorious for three consecutive years. This qualifies them for next year’s Village Pipol’s Hall of Famer. Meanwhile, realme also bagged the favorite mobile phone brand of the year under P20,000. This win was propelled by their realme 9 Pro model. This is a testament that have made this model one of Pipol’s favorites under the P20,000 category.

itel Mobile – Pipol’s Favorite Mobile Phone Brand under P10,000
itel Mobile, one of the newest front-runners in the mobile phone market in the country was declared Pipol’s Favorite Mobile Phone Brand of the Year under P10,000. The model itel Vision 3 Plus reigns supreme in this category and was voted by the Pipol.
Samsung – Pipol’s Favorite Premium Mobile Phone Brand and TV Brand
Global brand, Samsung was also declared Pipol’s favorite Mobile Phone Brand. It is under the premium category reigning victorious over Apple and Huawei. The brand was also voted by the Pipol as TV Brand of the Year for offering technological advancement to consumers with an eye-friendly, realistic, and enjoyable viewing experience with enhanced quality picture color for diverse viewing pleasure.
Axgon – Pipol’s Favorite PC Accessory Brand!
AXGON is the gaming brand of AOC. They offer innovative gaming peripherals and furniture for gamers of all levels. AXGON was also chosen by Pipol as the PC Accessory Brand of the Year. They offered consumers innovative and technology-driven accessories that help improve the lifestyle of its users.

The Home Appliance Brand of the Year was awarded to TCL Electronics. Aside from the Pipol’s vote, this award also goes to the brand that specializes in providing electronic equipment and continuing to give the public innovative and revolutionary products.
Lazada – Pipol’s Favorite Online Shopping Portal
Lazada was declared this year’s Online Shopping Portal. The brand was voted by Pipol for showcasing a user-friend, good service, and a website or mobile application that helps consumers find exactly what they want where it no longer requires a trip to the mall. Furthermore, Lazada was also the winner at the 2nd VPCA in the year 2021.
Sharlene San Pedro – Pipol’s favorite Online Streamer
Sharlene San Pedro bested Biancake, ChooxTV, Kristine Santamena, Sumpak, and Yawiesports for this year’s title holder for Online Streamer of the Year. She was also voted by Pipol as the most influential online streamer that consistently produces content with hard work and relatability. This award is presented by FLEEK.
The nominees for the 4th VP Choice Awards are also examined based on these criteria: fifty percent comes from online voting, thirty percent from the editorial team’s decision, and twenty percent from the expert panel.
Furthermore, the Village Pipol Choice Awards will continue to recognize the entities that excel in the field of business and technology with the help of the Pipol!
