With eagerness to learn its heights and depths, he finished a degree related to cinematography and film in Konkuk University in South Korea.

Meanwhile, to keep his fire for music burning, he learned to play both drums and guitar, allowing to find himself more in the realm of music. Going even farther, Won Shik dared to go out and share to the world the voice that serenaded yearning hearts.

I’ve loved music ever since, and I never imagined I’d get the chance to release my own singles. As for acting, it’s something I’ve always been passionate about. Right now, I love doing both, and I’m working hard to become the best I could be in both careers.

Entering a new era in music, Kim Won Shik also feels excited to share his latest single to his fans, including all the Filipinos who warmly welcomed him and his craft. A lot of Filipinos probably knew him more after he appeared in some Filipino shows including ‘Pag-ibig na Kaya?’ and the Philippine adaptation of ‘What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?’. But the truth is, Kim Won Shik has waved mabuhay to his Filipino Heart way back before these projects.

He lived with his sister in Davao City and Manila for six years, allowing him to get full Filipino experience from the Filipino communities he used to live with, making him even more fluent in English and Filipino. And talking about the Filipino experience, Kim Won Shik remembers the feeling and thoughts that ran in his mind on the first time he came to the country.

But the hot weather seemed to be a glimpse of the warmth that his Filipino fans were about to give him. His supporters showed their love for him from his music, show appearances, to his endorsement engagements in local brands. The weather was indeed hot but so is Filipino love, which he is excited to even feel closer soon.

Someday, if I get the chance, I want to meet my fans in person and give them something truly special, something I love that’s not food or disposable, but something that lasts forever.
