VP/Spotlight Sophie Prime’s Rise Through Authenticity

Once upon a time, in a faraway land … OVER NAMAN SA STORYTELLING MA?

Okay, sigesigesige BWELO. Have you ever crossed paths with an influencer you admire—yet never had the chance to say hello or share even a brief interaction?

Well, that’s not a problem with the “nag-iisang influencer na namamansin.” She’s not gonna make you say “TAKUT AKOOOO.” She’s not the meldy type. She’s pretty, she’s witty, and everything nice!

She is Sophie Prime.

Who is Sophie Prime?

When someone shows up unfiltered, they become more than just entertaining—they become unstoppable. With her talent to spew out witty expressions and turn them into comedy gold, Sophie Prime effortlessly got almost every Generation Z on board. Her content embraces the unhinged in the most entertaining way—spontaneous, exaggerated, and unfiltered—while still always rooted in something deeply relatable.

From funny anecdotes and candid, relatable moments, Sophie connects with her audience in a way that feels personal rather than performative. Little by little, what started as her own inside jokes evolved into shared expressions used beyond her platform. It truly is the Sophie Prime time, a subtle cultural reset her audience doesn’t just watch, but actively participates in.

Igiters: The Community Built Upon Common Ground

What started as simple “playtime” on TikTok eventually led to something far bigger than Sophie Prime ever imagined. With over 716,000 followers on TikTok, she has now built a thriving community called the “Igiters”—grounded in shared experiences, inside jokes, and collective laughter.

At the heart of it all is the Igiters vocabulary—phrases Sophie once tossed around as her own punch lines that have since slipped into everyday Gen Z conversations. Instead of bluntly calling someone bida-bida, Igiters say “namujane.” A sudden plot twist? That’s “twister.” Got caught? “Ayun, bagansya.” Feeling nervous? “Kulba.” And when someone’s channeling a little attitude, they ring the “meldy (bell)”—short for maldita.

These words aren’t just funny—they soften the edges of real-life moments. These expressions, packed with humor and wit, have a way of softening heavy conversations and turning awkward confessions into something easier to digest.

Even teachers, she notes, have adopted the lingo in classrooms to make lessons feel lighter and less intimidating. As Sophie puts it, “The vocabs are meant to lighten conversations. The message feels less heavy compared to when you say it seriously.”

Whether navigating heartbreak, dating app misadventures, or the absurdities of everyday life,  Igiters have found a shared language—one that makes space for honesty without losing humor. In Sophie’s world, there is always room for your story, and always an Igiter vocab to match.

Beyond the vocabulary, she’s built an entire cinematic universe of characters her audience instantly recognizes. There’s DJ Mod, the recurring love interest who fuels kilig and music  in equal measure, and Creatry, the ever-reliable note-taker of TikTok gifts. Together, they transform the Igiters’ world into a much more interactive and entertaining audience experience.

The Rise of Dagok Time

What’s better than watching Sophie on TikTok? Hearing her on Spotify, too!

On March 6, 2025, Sophie officially launched “Dagok Time” on Spotify, expanding her “isturii-telling” platform beyond short-form content. Through her Gmail, Igiters submit stories under categories like Libido, Let The Love Begin, Hurur, Komedya, and Action. And Sophie, ano gagawin niya? She’ll RIDDIT!

With commentary, signature Igiters vocabs, ads, and meme breaks in between, she makes sure that even the heaviest, scariest confessions never feel isolating. More than just humor, Dagok Time has become a safe space. Followers send deeply personal stories, trusting her to handle them with care and wit.

“It’s like we’ve become friends. They share stories they don’t usually tell others. I’m so grateful for that trust.”

Now sitting at #15 on Spotify’s Top Podcasts, Sophie admits she never expected Dagok Time to blow up. But as stories poured in and Igiters kept coming back, it became clear—people weren’t just entertained. They feel seen and heard.

Where Will Authenticity Lead You?

There’s something comforting about being your true, authentic self and realizing that people love and celebrate you just as you are, flaws and all.

So when she found out she was selected as one of Spotify’s first RADAR Creators in October 2025, the milestone felt surreal. What began as “dirty-dirty,” chaotic humor suddenly found itself recognized on a national platform celebrating standout Filipino creators.

She sees her inclusion not just as personal achievement, but as representation.

“There are voices who are scared to speak out. Dagok Time is here for that.”

The recognition proves what Igiters already knew—that being fully yourself—memes, and isturiis, and everything nice, can take you places you never imagined.

Unfiltered, Unhinged, Unstoppable

In a world obsessed with trends, Sophie Prime remains rooted in something simpler: genuine connection. She didn’t build her following by chasing clout, she built it by being unapologetically herself. Her humor, her chaos, and her wit create a space where followers feel seen, understood, and entertained all at once.

As long as there are memes, Sophie will be there. And as long as there are Igiters out there who want their stories to be heard, Dagok Time, along with Sophie and DJ Mod (for background music) will be there to tell them.

So, yeah … She’s unfiltered, unhinged, and unstoppable. Gkanuuun!
