Vice Ganda finds rudeness in people who ask help to be converted to cash

Vice Ganda voiced frustration towards people who asks for assistance to simply be changed to cash.
The comedian-host aired his piece on Twitter last Thursday, August 19, saying,
“Pag tinulungan ka ng cash bongga [’yon]. Pero [’yong] may tinulong sayong ibang bagay tapos nagrequest ka kung pwedeng [i-]convert na [lang] sa cash or baka pwedeng iba na [lang] is kinda bastos! Very wrong!”
Furthermore, Vice called out people who display a bad attitude despite being given help.
“May mga times na [’yong] tinutulungan mo na nga, may attitude pa. Very chaka!”
Then, Vice recalled how he offered help to lessen stress. Yet, thanks to the people he mentioned, he became stressed.
“’Yong nagoffer ka ng help para mabawasan [siya] ng stress ang ending ikaw ang nastress!!! Very very ouch!!!
Consequently, netizens agreed with the Unkabogable Box Office Star’s series of tweets. In their replies, they said one should simply be thankful that help was given.
In addition, user @BTS_queen9208 voiced how she can relate to Vice’s frustration.
“I can relate yung humingi ng tulong kahit gipit ka tutulungan mo kaso [rineject] [‘yong] tulong mo kasi hindi ganoon kalaki eh yun nga lang ang kaya ng bulsa ko.”

Moreover, one user told Vice you do not need to demand to get help, saying,
“Kung ano ang nakayanan nila at willing silang ibigay, okay na yun. Kaysa walang tumulong sa’yo, diba?”
However, as of press time, Vice did not mention the person he attempted to help.
So, what can you say about this? Is it rude to ask for someone to change their assistance, especially at this time of pandemic? Let us know!
