TECH/REVIEW | Showing out with the CMF Headphone Pro and CMF Watch 3 Pro

I’ve always believed that tech should do more than just work—it should say something. Whether you’re working from home, catching deadlines, or zoning out with your favorite playlist, the gear you use becomes an extension of your personality.

So when I got my hands on the CMF Headphone Pro and CMF Watch 3 Pro, I wanted to see if these two could actually keep up with my pace and my style.

CMF Headphone Pro

Build, design, customizability

The CMF Headphone Pro completes your look. What caught me first was the interchangeable ear cushions. They twist off with this satisfying click, and you can swap them out depending on your mood. Feeling bold? Go for a pop of light green. Need a clean, minimalist vibe for work? Matte black does the trick. It’s a small detail, but you can even mix and match colors out for that color-block fantasy.

The soft cushions and lightweight frame make long listening sessions surprisingly comfortable. I’ve worn these for hours at work and they never felt heavy. The adjustable headband evenly spreads pressure, so even on long days, there’s no annoying hotspot on top of your head.

What I really love is how tactile everything feels. There’s something refreshing about not needing to fumble with an app or screen just to adjust the sound. You can slide to tweak the bass or treble, roll to change volume, or press to toggle features, all directly from the headphones. It feels kind of old-school, but in a satisfying, analog-meets-modern way.

When I first discovered the energy slider, it was game-changing. Connected to the Nothing X app, you can choose between bass or treble mode and then physically slide to fine-tune the sound. This gives you control in real time, which makes it easier to find your sound.

Sound and noise cancellation

Looking for that eargasmic effect? The Headphone Pro is worth a serious listen. It’s got custom 40mm drivers with nickel-plated diaphragms, which basically means the sound stays crisp even when you turn up the volume.

The dual-chamber design adds a noticeable depth, especially when you’re listening to complex tracks. There’s a punch to the bass without it being overwhelming. You can tell CMF didn’t just boost the lows for effect and actually tuned to balance richness and clarity.

For those who like high-quality streams, the LDAC and Hi-Res Audio certification means you’re getting near studio-grade sound, whether you’re wired or wireless.

The Hybrid ANC adapts automatically to your surroundings. And when you do want to let a bit of the world in, Transparency Mode feels natural and not robotic. It’s perfect for quick chats at the coffee counter without taking the headphones off.

Battery

Here’s where things get wild: 100 hours of playback. And even with ANC on, you’re still getting about 50 hours, which easily carried me through a week of heavy use. The 5-minute quick charge gives you four hours of playback, which saves your life more than you anticipate.

And the fact that you can charge from your phone or laptop via USB-C makes them a true travel companion. I love that CMF didn’t just design for sound, but for how we actually live, charging on the move and juggling devices.

CMF Watch 3 Pro

Build and design

The Watch 3 Pro is clean, confident, and lightweight. The precision-milled metal frame feels premium yet understated. Meanwhile, the 1.43-inch AMOLED display is simply gorgeous, with its 91% screen-to-body ratio. It looks expansive without feeling bulky, along with a 60fps refresh rate that makes every swipe buttery smooth.

It’s the kind of watch that can easily go from day to night.  The soft silicone straps are comfortable all day, and even after hours of wear, I barely notice it’s there.

But the Watch 3 Pro isn’t just about looks because it tracks everything: heart rate, blood oxygen, stress levels, and sleep. I’ve been paying more attention to my sleep quality lately, and it’s surprisingly accurate at detecting deep vs light sleep. Seeing the data laid out every morning kind of makes you want to take better care of yourself.

Battery

The 13-day battery life is the kind of reliable that keeps you from constantly worrying about charging. Even with heavy use, it easily lasts about 10 days for me.

Charging is quick, and power management is clearly optimized. You can tell CMF thought through how the Watch 3 Pro fits into their consumers’ daily routines; whether you’re hitting deadlines or workouts, it keeps up effortlessly.

Overall thoughts

After a few weeks of using the CMF Headphone Pro and Watch 3 Pro, I get what CMF is doing. These aren’t just devices—they’re expressions of you. The headphones let you experiment with your aesthetic while delivering serious performance. The watch blends wellness, intelligence, and effortless style in one sleek build.

If you’re the type who likes to hustle hard, look sharp, and live smart, these two might just be the combo for you. They don’t scream for attention; they’ll earn it.
