SLAYSIAN ROYALE IS HERE TO SLAY

Slaysian Royale the spin-off of Drag Race Philippines 2025 premiered its episodes uniting Drag Queens from across Asia to showcase talent, Beauty, and inclusivity. For the first time, Asian queens came together on one stage, bringing culture and heritage to the spotlight.

ASIA SLAYED THE RUNAWAY

The first episode of this series is aired last August 13, 2025. It introduced a strong lineup: Arizona Brandy, Bernie, Brigiding, Ivory Glaze, Khianna, Kitty Space, Madame Yoko, Siam Phusri, Suki Doll, Sum Ting Wong, Viñas DeLuxe, and Yuhua (Hamasaki) well know Drag Queens across Asia and Europe.

The premiere exploded with a hair-to-hair dance showdown filled with confidence and power. Khianna dominated the stage, swinging her way to the first win of the season and Revelation of the Game Mechanics.

A BAGAZZLE EXTRAVAGANZA

Queens wasted no time proving their strength, bringing fierce energy and emotional depth. Bonds started forming quickly as they shared personal experiences. Madame Yoko and Kitty Space both revealed stories of being adopted and their journey of reconnecting with their Asian roots, showing the heart behind the competition.

 The queens turned the runway into a cultural celebration, presenting looks inspired by their home countries.

But it wasn’t only about beauty—it was about voice and vision in the first episode. Sum Ting Wong said, “Find your chosen family, that’s more important than anything else in the world,” when asked what message she wanted to share with trans people afraid to come out.

Siam Phusri added: “People don’t understand trans people because they don’t know how human beings are supposed to live. We don’t need to care what people think—we need to care what we are.” Her words and performance secured her a spot in the Top 2 alongside Khianna.

Even with a five-second disadvantage, Arizona Brandy stood tall when asked how she would use her platform: “I would use my platform to promote inclusivity to the LGBTQIA+ community by facing any challenges with my head held high. I am the example of just standing up and facing all the challenges.”

SLAYSIAN ROYALE DRAG EXCELLENCE

 Even as early as its 2nd week, it has been a roller-coaster of emotions as the game became more fiercer and challenging. The rule changes in battle of Lip Sync for Your Legacy create a fresh twist in the game, pushing the Queens to work harder and to have a bigger chance to be part of the highest-ranking contestant.

Even though Madam Yoko and Sum Ting Wong left early. Their present still left a mark, reminding everyone that every queen in this competition carries strength, story, and purpose.

The Slaysian Royale proved that drag is more than glitter and laughter—it’s a celebration of belonging, identity, and unity. From the Philippines to the world, Asian queens are not just here to compete. They are here to slay the stage.
