NO CAP— Donny Pangilinan earns his college degree!
In addition to being a massively popular Filipino actor, model, host, and VJ, Donny Pangilinan is now a degree-holder!
Last Sunday, October 9, the 24-year-old heartthrob shared this new milestone by revealing some of his graduation pictures. In an Instagram post, he detailed the brief story behind finishing college along with his two sisters. He excitingly narrated how they decided to complete their courses when the pandemic happened in 2020,
“For those who don’t know, when the pandemic hit over two years ago, Ella, Hannah, and I decided to complete our degrees together (with mine specifying in leadership). And today, we were able to have a joint graduation ceremony!”
Moreover, Pangilinan shared his happiness for the accomplishment he reached in overcoming busy schedules, many sleepless nights, and fights— he laughingly added. He further expressed gratitude to everyone who helped him achieve this feat.
Of course, part of the sweet message is thanking Anthony Pangilinan and Maricel Laxa, the proudest parents to the siblings.
“Thanks to mom and dad as well, who kept telling me every day to do my modules and papers. (I) love you both!” Pangilinan’s mother replied by saying this experience was a taste of heaven for them. In a separate IG post, Laxa celebrated the momentum:
“Nakapagpatapos din kami sa wakasss! Shout out sa lahat ng mga nagsabing naging inspirasyon ‘yung mga anak namin sa kanilang pag-aaral. Ngayon, we can say, kayo rin ang naging inspirasyon nila para grumaduate!”
On the other hand, Belle Mariano penned a short reply to her onscreen partner. The actress sent her congratulations, saying he is proud of Pangilinan. Meanwhile, fans throw a virtual celebration party for him by trending GRADUATE NA SI DONNY on Twitter.
