INSTAGRAM DEEP DIVE: Donny Pangilinan and his adoring family
One of the emerging actors of this generation is heartthrob Donny Pangilinan, the son of actress Maricel Laxa and businessman Anthony Pangilinan.
Donny starred in the film James, Pat, and Dave and in the series, He’s into Her, alongside Belle Mariano. The latter became a huge hit, gaining a huge following for the two lead actors. It was based on a story from Wattpad, written by author Maxinejiji.
Behind his promising career, Donny has an amazing family and he doesn’t shy away from posting them in his Instagram feed.

He clearly didn’t expect his brother, Benjamin, and sisters, Hanna and Ella, to be all grown up. I can completely relate to this as the eldest.
Birthday shenigans ft. Premier night
That’s exactly his caption. He posted a video of him with friends and family, having fun on his birthday. Donny turned 22 this time and he celebrated while singing the song “22” by the queen herself, Taylor Swift.
The video started with him and his parents having a meal. Despite all of their busy schedules, they still made time for each other.
A testament to that is at the exact same day, Donny attended the premiere night for his movie, James, Pat, and Dave.
Being supportive of sister’s art
Donny doesn’t fail to show support for his sister Ella. He posted a photo of her doing one of her amazing artworks.

A simple post of Merry Christmas channelled all of this pure joy and happiness. In this one, the actor posted a photo of him and his entire family being goofy.
Donny being stronger of his fear
In this post, the actor talked about his fears in life and how he conquered them. He basically compared it to the scuba diving trip he has done with his sister, Ella, as shown in the photo.
To give you more understanding about the beautiful message he left us, a part of his caption said,
“I mustered my courage and overcame my fear of failure—especially during the early stages. And the fear actually helped me to always improve, to make myself better, and to keep on working on myself.”
A protective older brother
Well, this one’s sweet and short. The actor greeted his sister Solana with a happy birthday. He said, in jest (and I hope he did), that his younger sister can only do that when she turned 30.
Donny proves how he is caring and sweet towards his family members. Aside from being the celebrity that he is, he doesn’t forget to put his family in the center of his life. Now, that’s who you should admire.
