Music from these local female artists will get you all fired up, too!
It is not just the international music scene that is soaring to new heights—our local favorites are, too… especially women! Nothing screams girl power than the back-to-back releases of our favorite — and even new — local female artists this November.
We are not even halfway through the month, yet they are already delivering! Jammed with exciting, dynamic musical artistry, these women in the industry are ready to take over the world by storm — if they have not already.
These are just some of the most awaited releases of our favorites this month. Check them out!
Fool No Mo! by AC Bonifacio
Last November 5, dancer, actress, host, and singer AC Bonifacio released her debut digital single under Star Magic Records.
The song, patched up together by Jonathan Manalo, Trisha Denise, Theo Martel, and AC herself, talks about the kind of love that “leaves someone with nothing.”
In a press conference last November 4, AC revealed that the song “already shows a different side” of her that people “are not able to see.” She wanted to show something different to her fans—the ACnatics.
Simulan by Maris Racal
“Simulan,” performed by Maris Racal, was also released last November 5. It is the Filipino version of Starting Now, the theme song for the Disney Princess 2021 campaign Ultimate Princess Celebration.
Maris took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the project, sharing that it was a “princess moment.”
“Simulan” or “Starting Now” is just one of the many projects the Walt Disney Company has under its belt for the celebration. Tune in on their pages for more content!
Pagod Na Ako by Janine Berdin
November 5 really was a great day for music lovers. Janine Berdin‘s “Pagod Na Ako” hit the charts that day as well!
In collaboration with Juan Karlos, who arranged and produced the song, together with Janine herself who wrote the lyrics, the song reflects one of “the honest truths of today.”
Watch Janine flaunt her vocals here:
NATATARANTA by LITZ
A new girl group has arrived in town!
LITZ, a rookie P-pop girl group from VIVA Records, released last November 11 their rendition of James Reid‘s “NATATARANTA.” By pouring their colors into the song, they gave it a new vibe and feel!
Bianca, Ashtine, Fatima, Heart, and Yumi altogether make LITZ, and no other person can take their place.
Watch out for their future releases!
Pagsamo by Shanne Dandan
After “Hanggang sa Langit,” Shanne Dandan once again graced us with her vocals!
Her rendition of Arthur Nery‘s “Pagsamo” garnered positive comments, one of which says that they liked it more than the original. A fact I believe Arthur would take no offense at— Shanne really was good!
I LIKED IT MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL 😭, SHE OWNED IT 💅 https://t.co/I9WtSaHI6w
