Miss Earth 2023 to take place in Vietnam in December
Xin chào! After a long wait, Miss Earth finally confirms this year’s date and host country. The pageant’s 23rd edition will be taking place in Vietnam on December 16. Mina Sue Choi of Korea will be crowning her successor at the end of the event.
The official announcement was made by the Miss Earth Organization through a social media post on July 21.

Previously announced in November of last year, this will be the second time since 2010 that Vietnam will serve as the host country for Miss Earth.
As a yearly tradition, Miss Earth 2023 will take on the theme of “ME loves Trees”. This aims to raise awareness on the importance of conservation and protection of our tress, which have had a tremendous impact on human society.
An estimated number of 80 candidates from all corners of the planet will participate in this year’s competition. This includes Philippine representative and Miss Philippines Earth 2023, Yllana Marie Aduana.
The 25-year-old model and medical laboratory scientist from Laguna will aim to capture the country its fifth Miss Earth win.
