As golden hour washed over the Manila skyline, media personalities, tastemakers, and industry insiders gathered over neat pours, signature cocktails, music, and playful experiences that brought the spirited world of Loca Loka to life.

Crafted in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, Loca Loka is produced using 100% Blue Weber agave under the guidance of third-generation Master Distiller Willy Bañuelos Ramírez. The brand’s Blanco and Reposado expressions have earned international recognition across prestigious competitions including the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, New York International Spirits Competition, and WSWA Wine & Spirits Tasting Competition.
The brand’s name itself reflects its cross-cultural spirit — Loca, the Spanish word for “crazy,” meets Loka, the Sanskrit word for “world” — capturing a bold and vibrant approach to tequila rooted in authenticity, craftsmanship, and global culture. Produced in small batches using agave sourced from Jalisco’s volcanic soil, each bottle highlights the purity and natural complexity of traditional tequila-making.
AN IMMERSIVE BRAND EXPERIENCE
Beginning with an intimate media lunch and masterclass led by Master Distiller Willy Bañuelos, guests taken through a specially curated four-course tequila pairing experience and an exclusive first tasting of Loca Loka’s upcoming Añejo expression. Through guided neat pours of Blanco, Reposado, and the launch-exclusive Añejo, guests gained deeper insight into the brand’s “100 or Nothing” philosophy, additive-free approach, small-batch production, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Speaking during the launch, Willy Bañuelos Ramírez, Third-Generation Master Distiller & Head of Production at Hacienda de Bañuelos, shared:
