Lisa Kudrow, Hugh Grant, and Samuel Jackson to star in mock-umentary “Death to 2020”
The upcoming Netflix mock-umentary Death to 2020 will feature high-profile names like Hugh Grant, Lisa Kudrow, Samuel Jackson, and many other celebrities. Last Monday, Netflix just shared the official trailer of the much-awaited comedy special made by creators of Black Mirror, Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones.
“A Netflix original comedy event that we’re still making, that you’ll never forget. From the year you really don’t want to remember,” the teaser wrote.
It added, “Coming soon. Too soon?”
Aside from Hugh Grant, other stars who will be featured in “Death to 2020” are Kumail Nanjiani, Tracey Ullman, Samson Kayo, Leslie Jones, Diane Morgan, Cristin Milioti, and Joe Keery.

’Death to 2020’ is a comedy event that tells the story of the dreadful year that was — and perhaps still is?” the official synopsis from the streamer read.
“Black Mirror” is an Emmy-winning series that portrays multiple realities where modern technologies backfire on its very own creators.
“Death to 2020” is created and executive produced by “Black Mirror” creators Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones. The duo formed production outfit Broke and Bones earlier this year, with investment from Netflix.
Netflix is yet to announce the special’s release date.
