‘Emily in Paris’ star Lily Collins is now engaged to the film director Charlie McDowell.
The Hollywood actress announced their engagement via an Instagram post on Friday, September 25. She shared the first close-up photo of her engagement ring. The said jewelry caught the attention of netizens across the globe as it boasts a square cut, pink-toned gemstone set in a simple gold band. Surprisingly, it perfectly matches her other jewelry — talk about perfect timing!
In the caption of her Instagram post, Lily wrote a message to McDowell.
“I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together…” Collins wrote.

On the other hand, Charlie uploaded a separate photo of his fiancée beaming with delight. He wrote, “In a time of uncertainty and darkness you have illuminated my life. I will forever cherish my adventure with you.”
According to Ajay Anand, the founder and CEO of the diamond search engine Rare Carat, Collins’ engagement ring could have cost anywhere between a couple of thousand dollars and $100,000.
The couple has been dating for almost a year now after making it official on Instagram last August 2019.
