ICYMI: SuJu’s Heechul and TWICE’s Momo confirmed to be dating

Super Junior’s Heechul and TWICE’s Momo is the first kpop idol couple confirmed this year!

Last month, SJ Label and JYP Entertainment confirmed that the two idols are indeed in a relationship.

In fact, one media outlet, Market News published an exclusive report stating that according to their investigation, Momo and Heechul are dating.

The outlet claims, “The two of them are currently developing a beautiful love for each other despite their busy schedules. It’s been said that in the rough entertainment industry where many incidents occur, they are a great source of support for each other. Their relationship began as ‘close seniors and juniors’ but they are now a couple.”

Label SJ confirmed the news in a statement:

Hello, this is Label SJ. We have confirmed with Heechul and Momo that they have recently started dating from being a close sunbae and hoobae. Thank you. 

Also JYP Entertainment stated:

Hello, this is JYP Entertainment. We are confirming that Heechul and Momo are in a relationship. They have recently started a relationship that grew from a sunbae-hoobae friendship in the industry. Thank you.

Last August of 2019, the same outlet reported that Heechul and Momo are in relationship for two years but Heechul and Momo’s labels both denied the dating rumor.

Heechul and Momo trended worldwide on twitter as many fans congratulate the couple and protect them from those who disrespect their relationship because of their 13 years age gap.

It is known that Heechul is Momo’s fan. He was often seen dancing to Momo’s part in TWICE’s song Cheer Up on variety shows.

This is Heechul’s first dating confirmation since his debut with Super Junior in 2005. Meanwhile, Momo, who debuted in 2015 is the second member of TWICE to publicly confirm her relationship.
