Hailey Baldwin says she made a decision to stick by Justin Bieber ‘no matter what the outcome’
Marriages are no walks in the park so you got to be willing to do the hard work. Making it work is especially harder for celebrities since they always have to protect their reputation and privacy. So, why did Hailey choose to stick it out with her husband Justin Bieber?
Singer Justin Bieber and model Hailey Baldwin opened up about keeping their marriage strong amid struggles. The couple got candid about the challenges they faced in the 3 years since they tied the knot.
According to People Magazine, the celebrity couple talked about their marriage struggles in an episode of a podcast In Good Faith with Chelsea & Judah Smith. Baldwin said,
“We always had so many conversations about, ‘What were our goals? Where did we want to end up at a certain age?’ We always talked about wanting to be married and be young, and have a young family, and have kids young.”
Justin and Hailey had been talking about their wish to start a family of their own. In a documentary, the singer said that they plan to have a baby at the end of this year.
Although they remain strong, Bieber admitted that it wasn’t always been smooth. He was still struggling with his mental health in the early stage of their marriage. He added,
“I had experienced so many things in my life. So many milestones and traveled the world and seen everywhere in the world. And I just got to a place where I was lonely, and I just didn’t want to do it all alone.”
Justin was facing mental health struggles
Justin said that he realized that he needed serious healing first so he can have a healthy, serious relationship. He just wants to be healthy and heal all the trauma and scars.
The Canadian pop star sought treatment for his mental health in 2019. Aside from that, he spoke publicly about the depression he experienced in the midst of his Purpose world tour.
The singer said Hailey accepted him for who he was.
“Even when we got married, there was still a lot of damage and hurt that I still needed to work through, but you’ve seen my heart through it all.”
As for Hailey, she said that she was all in, no matter what happens along with their married life.
“I was in it. I made a decision. I know for a fact that I’ve loved this person for a very long time and now would not be the time to give up on him. I just wouldn’t do that to him,” she said.
Indeed, Hailey’s commitment and loyalty towards Justin is a pure gem. In this world where it’s easy to just give up, she knows the importance of working things out.
