An 18-year-old Fil-Am pre-Law student contestant in American Idol Season 18 is currently capturing the hearts of everyone. The 18th season of the show featured Francisco Martin from San Francisco, California.

In fact, he came in the studio looking extremely nervous so the judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan approached him and tried to calm him down but as soon as he started singing while playing his guitar, he blew them away with his audition song “Alaska” by Maggie Rogers.

His fans showed support to him after the show uploaded his audition part on Facebook and Twitter. They were praising him for his performance of the song including Rogers. She retweeted the video of him singing her song and captioned “I CANT HANDLE THIS” along with the clip.

Moreover, Martin is not only a great singer and guitarist, he can also play drums and write songs.

A video of him uploaded on YouTube last year was uploaded where he can be seen singing and playing drums. He was performing a cover of Juan Karlos’ Buwan together with the band All for Patricia.

During his audition, Martin amazed the judges by his vocals and even asked him to perform his own song. “You’re going to Hollywood,” they exclaimed right after.
