DITO Telecommunity rolls out mobile services with 30-days UNLIMITED calls, texts and data for just P199

DITO Telecommunity, the third telco player in the country rolls out its mobile services tomorrow, March 8 with a competitive unlimited “Welcome Offer” that may challenge telco giants Globe, and PLDT.

The telco is set to offer unlimited calls, texts, and data for 30 days for just ₱199. Also stated in the promo’s terms and conditions, their welcome offer can be availed from March 8 to 31.

However, DITO Telecommunity said the promo would be initially offered to select locations in the Visayas, and Mindanao only.

CEBU: Carcar, Cebu City, Consolacion, Danao, Liloan, Mandaue, Minglanilla, Naga, San Fernando, and Talisay in Cebu

DAVAO: Panabo, Tagum, Carmen, Davao City, and Digos in the Davao region.

HOW TO AVAIL THE PROMO?

  • Download the DITO App via the link included in the activation SMS. The link will be sent to the subscriber after activating the SIM card.
  • Create an account on the DITO App, meanwhile, an initial password via SMS by DITO.
  • From the App Home Page, users must click the “Welcome Offer” button to proceed in availing of the Php 199 unlimited promo.
  • The subscriber will receive the confirmation both through the App and SMS.

DITO Telecommunity offers unlimited Texts, Calls, and Data as Welcome offer.

Additionally, New subscribers of the DITO Telecommunity will be assigned with the following number prefixes: 0991, 0992, 0993, 0994; and 0898, 089, 0896, and 0895.

Moreover, DITO managed to cover 37.48% of the population, focusing mostly on Visayas and Mindanao with its first technical audit.

The telco also managed to deliver an average speed of 85.9Mbps for 4G and 507.5Mbps for 5G networks in the initial test.

With the arrival of the DITO Telecommunity, will it live up to its promises of offering ground-breaking mobile services to Filipinos?, And will it be the start of more satisfying and improved services from the three telcos? We can’t wait for that to unfold.
