Anji Salvacion tackles growth in single ‘Paraiso’
Rising singer and songwriter Anji Salvacion officially deviated from her previous pop sound with her latest single, Paraiso.
The Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10 winner launched Paraiso on April 14. Released under Tarsier Records, it is the work of both United States-based singer-songwriter Annie LuxMotivating and producer, Exale.
Moreover, Anji declared the new song as an indication of her desire to explore different genres with her music. The piece also hopes to showcase her confidence and versatility, a step forward in pursuing her growth as an artist.

Paraiso is a Spanish-adapted word meaning paradise. With the term being the title of Anji’s latest single, it is a tribute to channeling self-confidence.
“Self-confidence is very hard to achieve because everybody in this generation is competing with each other. [And] I want to remind everyone that it’s not about competing. It’s about going at your own pace,” Anji told Manila Bulletin in an interview.
Anji further explained how he hopes to uplift each of his listeners through Paraiso.
“That’s what the song really means to me. Embracing one’s self, your body, your beauty, your skin, your everything, your personality, that’s what it’s all about,” Anji stressed. She added that in assuming self-esteem, in a way, one welcomes a version of their paradise.
Before Paraiso, Anji launched her debut extended play titled Kasingkasing Dalampasigan last year. It contained six songs she wrote herself, including the key track Dalampasigan.
Fans can stream and download Paraiso on various music platforms.
