Angel Locsin and Neil Arce hold Squid Game-themed Halloween party
Angel Locsin, along with her husband Neil Arce, recently threw their first Halloween party as a married couple.
The party had a theme inspired by the hit South Korean survival drama series Squid Game.
The couple decorated their home with various recognizable props from the show, including the doll and the dalgona candy game.
In their vlog posted last Saturday, October 23, Angel and Neil evidently wore costumes from the show.
The actress wore a green tracksuit similar to the one players wore in Squid Game.
On the other hand, Arce donned the costume of “The Frontman” while several friends joined their party.
Angel and Neil asked viewers in the vlog’s description,
“Who wants to play a game? Hindi man tayo makalabas, we won’t let this pandemic dampen our Halloween spirit!”
Moreover, the couple assured viewers that safety protocols were followed during their Halloween party.
Angel explained how she never grew up celebrating Halloween, but admitted to enjoying seeing the costumes people wore at parties.
“Sa Halloween, isa sa pinakagusto ko ay ‘yong nagbibihis ‘yong buong community ng ridiculous costumes, ta’s walang judgment. Kahit may budget ka o walang budget, tumodo ka o hindi, accepted ka.”
Furthermore, she added,
“Kaya dahil ngayon kami magce-celebrate ng aking asawa ng aming first Halloween together, naisipan naming mag-abala naman nang konti lang,”
Angel and Neil tied the knot in a civil ceremony last July 26. They shared their wedding video on YouTube last August 14.
What an exciting party, Angel and Neil! What a way to get into the Halloween spirit!
