Hippie Fest Philippines 2025 Returns with Theme “PAG-IBIG”

Hippie Fest Philippines, the country’s most heartfelt grassroots celebration of counterculture and conscious community, returns for its 4th year this October 31 to November 3, 2025 at the sacred forest sanctuary of Tahana Hiraya, San Luis, Batangas.

Rooted in the values of peace, love, and sustainability, Hippie Fest continues to honor authenticity, creativity, and communal connection through art, music, healing, and grounded rituals. Each year, attendees gather to walk barefoot, sleep in tents or hammocks, live simply, and reconnect with themselves, others, and nature.
In their 4th year, they intend to celebrate with deeper purpose and stronger connection.
We open our circle once more with the theme:
PAG-IBIG: Love for Arts, Nature, and Community
In the counterculture movement of the ‘60s,
there is a saying: “love like a hippie.”
It means to love freely, without borders, without expectations,
possessiveness, or judgment.
To allow others to be themselves.
To value freedom over control.
To let love flow naturally, without forcing it into boxes or rigid labels.
To see souls, not roles.
To hold space instead of holding on.
To offer flowers instead of conditions,
and forgive like rivers meeting the sea.
It is a love for all things: the self, the other.
A wild, tender love that grows in the soil of peace
and blossoms only where freedom lives.
Festival-goers can expect to:
- Dance around the fire
- Experience grounded rituals
- Engage in the counterculture movement
- Co-create moments with the community
- Meet strangers who become soul friends
- Immerse in a safe environment where authenticity is sacred

A Festival Rooted in Sustainability
Hippie Fest Philippines is proudly a zero-waste event. Attendees are required to bring reusable utensils. If not, you will eat with your hands on banana leaves — because here, simplicity is sacred.
On the last day, everyone will contribute 1 kilo of rice and vegetables for the closing Salu-Salo, a long-table kamayan-style feast to celebrate land, life, and love.
Attire is nature-loving and expressive: think handmade, organic, or repurposed: outfits that honor the earth and your spirit.
Conscious vendors and crafters are carefully curated. There will be an open space for Barter Trade and Latag to encourage community exchange and value-based trade.
