4 Times AC Soriano portrayed our favorite TV characters

VP-AC-FI

Because of his recent comical and occasionally satirical political skits, content creator AC Soriano has gained a lot of attention. Whether you’re a fan or not, his commitment to giving an all-out performance online makes him an expert at portraying character roles. However, this isn’t the first time he has done so.

If you’ve been following him for a while, you’ll know how much he loves watching both Philippine soap operas and Korean dramas. Like many of us, he can get extremely passionate which motivates him to channel his favorite characters. From the mannerisms to the dialogue, and even the wardrobe, his attention to detail is quite impressive. This shouldn’t even come as a surprise, considering the fact that AC is a film graduate.

Drawing inspiration to some of his favorite shows, here are examples of how AC replicated a character accurately.

As Doc Jill Ilustre from The Broken Marriage Vow

The Broken Marriage Vow is the Filipino adaptation of the British drama series, Doctor Foster. As his latest persona, AC has been very vocal on how much he’s invested in the show, particularly towards the role played by Jodi Sta. Maria.

As Sung Deok-Sun of Reply 1988

Reply 1988 is a beloved Korean drama that, no matter how many times we watch it, never fails to tug at our heartstrings. For Halloween, AC decided to dress up as the joyful and sympathetic Sung Deok Sun.

As Jang Man-Wol of Hotel Del Luna

It’s no secret that AC is a certified IU stan. During one of his trips to South Korea, AC didn’t pass on the opportunity and visiting some of Hotel Del Luna’s shooting locations.

As Dr. Kang Mo Yeon of The Descendants of the Sun

True fans of AC’s vlogs are aware of how much he adores Song Joong-Ki. As a result, an inside joke was developed between him and the actor’s then-wife Song Hye Kyo.

Editing this scene from the hit Korean Kdrama Descendants of the Sun, we only have one phrase to describe this: “Ganda ka?”
