Using this display for the first time exceeded our expectations of what it might look like, given its price.
Cameras
The brand proudly boasts its flagship-level cameras as they should. The Redmi Note 14 has four cameras: a 108MP main camera, a 2MP depth camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 20MP front-facing camera. These cameras are nothing short of reliable when it comes to taking magnificent images.
Photos taken using the Redmi Note 14 came out clear and vibrant. The details were crisp and had none of the over-processing you could sometimes get from phones within this price range. Furthermore, it offers up to 3x lossless zoom so distance never became a problem when we were testing it out.

Of course, we have to talk about its all-star durability. First, its display boasts a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 that’s mega durable and scratch-resistant.
And if that’s not enough, it also has an IP54 rating that ensures your phone can take minor splashes and dust like it’s nothing. With a stronger internal structure, your phone can even handle drops and survive. Now that’s a phone you take with you during your daily commute and adventure.
Battery and Charging
Another notable feature of the Redmi 14 is the outstanding battery experience. The phone sports a large 5500mAh battery that can last you a whole day of moderate use.
For our testing, we left the house early to take photos and use the phone. At the end of our day, we went home with 40% of the battery left which was a lot given the time we spent taking photos and playing games using the phone.
Of course, this varies depending on how you use the phone. But in case you run out of juice, the phone supports 33W turbo charging that tops up your phone in no time. It even has a smart charging engine that now powers your phone on within seconds of being plugged. Now you can get back to where you were before your phone dies swiftly.
Performance and Storage
The Redmi Note 14 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra chip that runs with enough power to handle anything you want to use your phone for.
Additionally, it has up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage that could be expandable through an SD card. That being said, the phone could run most games, even some 3D games like Genshin Impact, pretty well, albeit, at its lowest graphic settings.
Other than that, you’ll have no trouble doom-scrolling and multitasking using this phone if that’s what you intend to use it for.
Overall Thoughts
Out of all four variants of the Redmi Note 14 series, the Redmi Note 14 is the best value choice. You get flagship-level cameras, superb durability, and exceptional battery life all without breaking the bank. In 2025, who’s to say that a phone should be expensive to be competitive?
