VP/List: Who Are Our Miss Universe 2019 Top 5 Finalists
Tomorrow, December 9 (Manila Time), Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will crown her successor at Tyler Perry’s new Atlanta studio. All 94 candidates have showcased their national costumes and slayed the Miss U stage during preliminaries.
Among the candidates, we have listed down five of them who we think have the big chance to bring home the Miss Universe crown this year. We’ve seen their in swimsuit and watch them play with elegance in poise in their long gown — and I am telling you, choosing our Top 5 is not easy.
PHILIPPINES – Gazini Ganados
Of course, Philippines will always be in every hot pick list. This 23-year-old Cebuana model looked magnificent during her preliminary performance. She has delivered a wonderful stage presence and undeniable ‘Universe’ beauty. On top of that, we are confident she slayed her closed-door interview.
COLOMBIA – Gabriela Tafur
This 24-year-old lawyer looks elegant in every angle. In the past years, Miss Universe has crowned girls who embodied authenticity and confidence — Miss Colombia is a tough contender.
THAILAND – Paweensuda Drouin
We can say that 2019 is Thailand’s golden year in pageantry. After their success in Miss International and Miss Supranational, pageant fans are now expecting a third Miss Universe crown for the Land of Smiles. So far, Paweensuda is meeting everyone’s expectations of her. In fact, this 26-year-old model-host delivered outstanding preliminary performance.
BRAZIL – Julia Horta
We stan a woke queen, of course! During the national costume presentation, Miss Universe Brazil took the opportunity to promote her advocacy against women abuse. Aside from her beauty, this 25-year-old Journalism graduate is a good speaker, hence, question and answer segment will be easy for her.
PUERTO RICO – Madison Anderson
Miss Puerto Rico is loving doll.
In fact, this 24-year-old public relations and marketing student is considered as one of the top girls during preliminary competition.
