Volvo Convenes Top Minds for a Safe and Inclusive Future
The second Voice of Volvo featured dialogue that redefines safety as empowering and inspiring.
Affirming its role as a leader in human-centric innovation, Volvo Philippines gathered industry leaders and advocates for its second “Voice of Volvo” forum at St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, on September 3, 2025.
Themed “Grace Beyond the Wheel,” the forward-thinking dialogue aimed to reshape the country’s approach to mobility by exploring how a culture of safety can be both a powerful enabler of progress and a dignified component of modern life.
Inclusive Mobility Solutions
The forum ignited cross-sector collaboration, urging participants to co-create inclusive mobility solutions that empower every Filipino to travel with confidence. Moreover, by convening at a leading academic institution, Volvo affirmed its dedication to cultivating future leaders and innovators who will carry this mission forward.
Building on the momentum of its inaugural event, the second edition of the forum boldly shifted the conversation from ideals to action. “Grace Beyond the Wheel” moved past the technicalities of road safety to uncover its deeper, human truths.
To lead this transformative conversation, Volvo brought together a panel of women leaders whose lived experiences offered rare and essential insights into safety, risk, and empowerment. Their voices reflected a truth often overlooked: those who move through the world with a keener awareness of safety are also the ones best equipped to reimagine what a truly secure society is all about. At its heart, the forum also explored how safety is the very foundation that allows people to live fully, dream freely, and reach their highest potential.
“Volvo has always believed that safety is a shared responsibility, not just an automotive feature,” said Ms. Maria Fe Perez-Agudo, Vice Chairman, President, and CEO of HARI, the country’s official distributor of Volvo cars. “Through the ‘Voice of Volvo’ platform, we move beyond engineering to foster crucial dialogue on culture change, where personal security is paramount. We are igniting a movement to ensure that today’s ideas become tomorrow’s transformative realities.”
Furthermore, the Voice of Volvo is a key pillar of Being Alive, Volvo Philippines’ comprehensive safety advocacy. Moreover, the campaign exemplifies Volvo’s mindset for care, which extends beyond drivers and passengers to protect all road users, ensuring that safety never compromised.
