Sail Almost Over: One Piece reports to end on 2024
If you talk about manga, of course, One Piece is one of the top-tiers in the list. The anime has been running for 20 years since the first episode and still kicking around almost thousand episodes. But in 2024, this legendary manga is expected to end.
Last year, One Piece’s mangaka Eiichiro Oda said that he plans to end the series with just a hundred volumes. As per Anime News Network, Oda has been planning how it will end since he was in college.
On a video last year with Japanese Youtubers Fischer’s, Oda was asked if how long will One Piece keep going and he replied, “I want to end it in five years.”
Meanwhile, the series editor Takuma Naito confirmed it. “If Oda says it will be five year, then it will surely end in five year,” he said.
Two decades had already passed and we are still finding that One Piece. However, the fans are still not ready, and see that a half a decade is not enough to wrap up the adventure of Straw Hat Pirate.
One Piece is known as the all-time longest shonen manga series created since 1997. It is one of the Big Three manga of Weekly Shonen Jump, along with Bleach and Naruto.
