Ryan Reynolds wants aspiring film creatives to join him in his next movie
Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds announced that he will be investing and choosing talent and creativity from any and all under-represented communities “who’ve felt this industry didn’t have room for their dreams.”
The said news was announced on Twitter via video of Ryan inviting all aspiring film creatives from the Black, Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) and a whole host of marginalized communities to join.

“COVID-willing which is a weird thing to say, I’m gonna be starting a movie this fall and I’m committing to bring between ten and twenty trainees from the BIPOC communities on any and all other marginalized communities of all ages.”
Moreover, Ryan clarified that this opportunity is open for all ages. In fact, the Hollywood actor said recruits will be paid and housed and traveled out of his own salary.
“They are going to spend their days on set learning from professionals getting real life experiences that they can parlay to another job. Then, hopefully if their not too disillusioned, a career in the film industry,” he said.
Ryan then thanked Netflix and Skydance for giving him the opportunity to do this initiative.
