OPPO A96: Powerfully designed for everyday
Almost a month following its launch, The VP Tech Team has had a chance to get its hand on Oppo’s newest unit yet, the Oppo A96. Tagged #DesignedToBePowerful, we got to try this unit for a while in different scenarios and activities.
Powerful All-day
What’s the best gauge for a mobile phone than the usual everyday usage? Oppo A96’s signature Glow design, brings an eye-catching and dazzling look that you would carry-around. The smooth to touch 3D slim body, matched with a fingerprint, scratch, and dirt resistant finish makes you comfortable to carry it around. Included in the packaging is a silicon cover for additional protection for bumps and falling.
Aside from the design and feel, Oppo A96’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Processor, backed by an 8GB memory, delivers a smooth user experience. From day-to-day social media browsing, calling, and messaging, multi-tasking will never be an issue especially if you’re used to working on the go like me.
Play and Chill
Another thing I enjoyed with the Oppo A96 is the powerful gaming and movie-watching experience. With the powerful specs under the hood, plus the wide 6.59-inch display, be ready to be immersed with the new world you’ll be in while playing and chilling in your free time.
One of the most tasking games I’ve been playing is Call of Duty: Mobile, and I was able to enjoy it in medium to high graphics settings in both MP and BR Modes. Playing Mobile Legends Bang Bang is also not a question since I was able to pull up the graphics settings to Ultra without encountering any problems in-game.
It is best to always play or watch movies with your earphones on, but the dual-speaker feature lets you enjoy stereo sound on loud speaker mode.
Worry-free Trips
The highlight I had with the Oppo A96 is its reliability during an out-of-town trip we had. With the 50MP main camera, backed by a 2MP Bokeh camera, I was able to capture stunning portrait and landscape photos. The AI enhancement feature is also a big help for easier capturing.
One of the most reliable features we used was the HDR mode, which was helpful for both bright mid-day and against the light sunset shots.
Of course selfies are perfect as well with the 16MP front camera. It also comes with the HDR feature and lots of live filter settings for more diverse shots.
Since we have been going around almost the whole day, the long-lasting 5000mAh battery is also a big plus. You just shoot those photos and videos without worrying when that low-battery notification will come out. Charging the device up to 100% just takes a little over an hour with the 33W SUPERVOOC feature.
