“So, I did this thing! Walt Disney asked if I could read a story to children from my home. And I did! Enjoy,” she wrote
Lea, who provided the singing voice of Princess Jasmine in the 1992 Disney animated film Aladdin, got the chance to introduce herself to the younger generation through the said project.
On the other hand, Lea appeared in Regine Velasquez-Alcasid live streamed Birthday Concert last April 25. The said concert is for the benefit of Bantay Bata 163.
Lea and Regine, two of the most iconic singers in Philippine entertainment history, sang together for the first time. Their performance was applauded by netizens across the globe.
“Ahhh! That was so hard! Singing with you was so hard! My God, it’s hard to sing with you. I mean that only in the best way,” Lea said after their duet.
“The next time you and I sing again, it should be in person with full-on glam and full-on gowns in a much bigger venue than this. I’m talking about concert halls, stadiums, and arena and it will be fun,“ Lea added.
