KPop Kings Super Junior performs in Manila for their ‘Super Show 8’ tour

It was just a year ago when the KPOP Legends and Hallyu Kings Super Junior held a solo-concert tour here in the country, yet they proved, once again, that their legacy and impact among Filipino fans are indeed “everlasting” – just exactly how they call their fans as ‘Everlasting Friends’ or ‘ELF’.

Return Of The Kings

For the fifth time, Super Junior returned to the country last night for their Manila leg of their world tour, Super Show 8: Infinite Time with, of course, a full blast performance at the SM Mall of Asia Arena giving their beloved fans a total Sunday night jam and a new plot-twist to treasure this holiday season.

The arena was filled with screams and fanchants from thousands of lively fans who attended the concert. The Hallyu Kings then started hitting the stage with their opening performance, Superman + The Crown, followed by some of their iconic songs such as Bonamana, Mr. Simple, Sexy Free & Single, No Other, Devil. Super Clap, Mamacita, Black Suit, among others.

Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk even revealed that they are currently working with their new album. “We have a good news for the Filipino Fans. This is the first time saying this, we are preparing a new album for you guys,” he said.

He also claimed that the group plans to bring their next concert tour in Manila next year.

Super Show 8 is the fifth world concert tour and eighth international tour by Super Junior with members Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. Member Heechul wouldn’t be joining the tour as confirmed by Label SJ due to ongoing health concerns.

Super Junior debuted on November 6, 2006 under S.M Entertainment. They gained international recognition and popularity in 2009 for their famous and best-selling single Sorry, Sorry.
