Infinix Note 12 G96 has packaging that is very straight to the point. The very box of the phone features a character from PUBG, a famous MOBA game. This type of packaging simply means that their branding is targeted obviously at those people who are into gaming. The box also comes with a customized case that fits the theme of the box and a screen protector.

UNBOXING EXPERIENCES

Right from the box, the budget-gaming phone would instantly greet you! You would have a total of two free cases should you buy this phone, for a free jelly case is inside the box! Moreover, a free sim-ejector tool comes for free, along with the USB Type-C cable and charging brick.

DESIGN AND BUILD QUALITY

One reason to love this phone is because of its large 6.7 inch-AMOLED display! Yes, for only at least PHP 9,000, you would get an AMOLED display for a smartphone. It also features a dew-dropped notch that houses the front-facing camera of the device. Though the only downside of this phone to some, display-wise, is that it only refreshes to 60 Hertz. While others do not mind this at all. It also has a stereo speaker setup for a more immersive gaming experience.

PERFORMANCE AND BATTERY

The chipset used in this Infinix Note 12 G96 is not new, though. It has been used for other lower midrange devices, as well. Despite that, the Mediatek Helio G96 is a decent chipset for a decent gaming experience in this phone.

It has an 8 GB Standard RAM but can be extended to 13 GB by ROM. And, it is available at 128 GB or 256 GB of ROM. With the given RAM power of this device, it can definitely game.

Infinix Note 12 G96 comes with a headphone jack at the bottom. It is very rare for smartphones these days to include it, though. So nice move again there, Infinix!
