Infinite Star Rhian Ramos Renews Contract with GMA Network
GMA homegrown artist Rhian Ramos renewed her contract with the Kapuso Network, August 12, 2025, at GMA Studio 6.
In an intimate signing event, Rhian was welcomed by GMA executives: President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Gilberto Duavit Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Felipe Yalong, Officer-in-Charge for the Entertainment Group and Vice President for Drama Ms. Cheryl Ching-Sy, and Rhian’s manager Michael Uycoco.
Known as the Philippines’ Infinite Star, Rhian has shown outstanding versatility since she began her career at age 15, evolving from youthful roles to mature and groundbreaking portrayals.
Rhian has been in the entertainment industry for 19 years, starring in numerous series and films including Zorro, Stairway to Heaven, Captain Barbell, The Rich Man’s Daughter, Royal Blood, and most recently Sang’gre as Kera Mitena.
The Kapuso Jewel reaffirmed her loyalty to GMA by renewing her ties with the network. GMA, in turn, expressed deep gratitude for her commitment throughout her career, proudly recognizing her as one of its finest actresses. They highlighted her ability to reinvent herself across genres, delivering each role with depth and grace.
Unmatched Talent
Mr. Duavit expressed admiration for Rhian’s unmatched talent, recalling how she won an acting award early in her career.
“Throughout all these years from a number of drama roles that have proven her versatility to hosting reality shows, musical variety shows, and even lifestyle shows, Rhian has shown nothing but versatility, professionalism, and loyalty.”
Mr. Yalong also shared his appreciation for Rhian’s impact on viewers.
“I’ve seen how Rhian transformed from where she started, and recently her portrayal of Mitena is so powerful that she became the talk of the virtual world and that helped the program so much.”
Ms. Ching-Sy expressed her hope for Rhian’s continued growth and influence.
“She is not only a Kera in Encantadia but also a Keri in GMA Network and the hearts of the viewers. I can truly and proudly say that you’re one of this generation’s best actresses.”
Infinite Loyalty
Rhian fondly recalled some of her favorite projects—LaLola, Stairway to Heaven, The Rich Man’s Daughter, TOTGA, Royal Blood, and of course Sang’gre—and shared how each role contributed to her growth.
“I’m just lucky that GMA keeps giving me really iconic roles that are so well written, yung busog na busog: there’s so much you can do with it.”
Rhian Ramos also expressed her gratitude to her fans that has sticked with her throughout the years.
“To all of my fans who have followed me through the years. They still show up at my events. I see the same faces for the past 20 years. I feel so lucky that you are all a part of my life and you allow me to be a part of yours. Thank you so much for all of the support. I wouldn’t be here without you and you guys inspire me every day to keep doing my best and giving you my best.”
Moreover, Rhian thanked GMA for taking care of her and believing in her since day 1.
“Thank you so much for the patience all of these years. I literally grew up in this network. So thank you for the guidance and for inspiring me, not just to be a good artist, an actor, but a good person. Thank you so much for the years of trust that you have given me; each and every role that I have ever been given—I know that it’s a dream come true for so many girls out there, and yet you give me that opportunity. So thank you so much. I’m so infinitely grateful to all of you.”
