Having best friends in college is the most important part
College is the most crucial part of your educational journey. It requires a lot of patience, perseverance, and dedication to survive and push through. At some point, it also gives you struggles that you may never imagine experiencing. Plus, it has always been said that your college years are considered the last hurrah before going into the real world. That’s why every student should make the most out of it. It doesn’t matter if it requires four or more years in college. Aside from that, having the best circle of friends that you can count on is the most important part of the list.
Having best friends in college is the most important part
Growing up, we always want to have a best friend whom we can always talk with. We always want to have our kind of Spongebob and Patrick Star or Phineas and Ferb relationship in real life. In a college setting, friends play a big role not just in fulfilling our memories at school. But, in our life as a whole.
Some college students require themselves to move out or stay at an apartment or boarding house away from their families. Having a best pal with them helps lessen sadness or even social isolation. The fact that they learn how to leave independently, they tend to learn, give and earn trust in return.
We cannot deny the fact that we will likely get to experience lots of challenges and struggles during college. For some, during this period, we came to know more about both our strengths and weaknesses. Nonetheless, having a friend by your side, all of these seem to be bearable. You got your own BayMax who’s willing to reach out to you and be available 24/7 just to make sure you’re okay.
In some cases, college friendships become a lifetime unexpected friendship. From staying up late talking over anything else (if not academic related, for sure it’s about some guys, kidding). Too impulsive eating out just to kill time – for sure hanging out and drinking out would never be an exemption.
What’s more important is the fact that aside from learning everything you need to acquire in college, you never feel alone having your friends at your back. With that, they need an overwhelming appreciation and love.
So, to my OG college bestie Erika Faye, thank you for making my days at school so bearable. You know the rest. Cheers to a lifetime friendship with you!
