DivinaLaw’s Sweet 16
DivinaLaw clients, lawyers, and staff gathered at the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-La The Fort, Manila to celebrate the Firm’s 16th founding anniversary last April 19.
With health protocols in place, the event started with a Thanksgiving Mass followed by a lunch treat for all guests. During the milestone event, DivinaLaw recognized 15 clients who have been engaging with the Firm since its first year. Meanwhile, employees who have been with the firm for 5, 10 and 15 years were given loyalty awards. DivinaLaw Managing Partner Nilo T. Divina also announced the promotion of two lawyers and eight non-legal staff, citing the promotions as a sign that the firm is going through optimization to provide better services to clients.
As for the future of the firm, Divina said, “When we gather again on our 20th anniversary, DivinaLaw, your law firm, will be one of the biggest and most dominant law firms in the country. No doubt our future plans are ambitious. No doubt they are grand, even bordering on hallucination. But, were we not only a dream 16 years ago? Did we not start as a mere ambition by one hallucinating lawyer 16 years ago?”
Known for the tagline ‘Dynamic Lawyering,’ DivinaLaw started as a boutique law firm in 2006 with five lawyers handling five clients. It has since become a full-service law firm composed of more than 80 lawyers and with over 800 clients from practically all business segments.
