foodpanda opened in eight (8) key cities. This includes: Cavite (Bacoor and Imus), Pampanga (San Fernando and Angeles), Tagaytay, Cagayan de Oro, Naga, Bacolod, Baguio and San Pedro in Laguna. Aside from that, the brand also started delivering from a wide array of restaurants from The Moment Group.
This includes Manam, Ooma, 8Cuts, Din Tai Fung. Aside from that, they also started taking away from Tim Hortons and Coffee Bean among others.
Launching Go Green Campaign
Aside from providing an assortment of food choice and on-time food delivery, the brand also advocates for protecting the environment. Food waste remains one of the causes of climate change. That alone became the reason why foodpanda started to provide sustainable choices to consumers with Go Green Campaign.
Launched in 2019, the campaign included giving the customers an option to not have single-use plastic utensils to go with their order. The campaign helped eliminate more than 50, 000 pairs of cutlery, saving the restaurant take-away cost while simultaneously saving the environment.
Gathering popular delicacies for Bites and Vibes.
Bites and Vibes became one of the most-awaited food events which showcase the city’s favorite restaurants big and small. The gathering of different small and medium-sized enterprises featuring their popular delicacies. With millennials, single professionals and young families attending the event, the gathering features three days of music, party and great food all in one place. foodpanda had two Bites and Vibes in 2019. It happened last May featuring Moonstar 88 in Davao while ThisBand headlined in Cebu last September of the same year.
