BTS sets new record on Billboard’s Hot 100 as “On” takes 4th spot
It’s another milestone for ARMYS to celebrate! Global sensation Kpop band BTS made another record-breaking debut on Billboard’s Hot 100 char as their comeback “On” took the number 4 spot today. In fact, a total of three songs from their “Map of the Soul: 7” album took spots on the chart.
Adding to that, they are the first-ever Korean artist to have 3 songs on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart at the same time. It surpassed Psy whose hits “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman” grabbed no. 2 and no. 5 respectively on the same chart, back in 2012 and 2013.
“On is also currently the highest-ever ranking on the Billboard chart for a Korean artist worldwide, Billboard said on its website.

Roddy Rich’s “The Box” took the first spot, followed by “Life is Good” by Future ft. Drake. Post Malone’s “Circles” grabbed third.
Aside from that, BTS member Jungkook’s solo song “My Time” took no. 84 spot while Jimin’s solo track “Filter” grabbed no. 87 spot.

Previously, BTS’s “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey debuted at number 9 last year. In 2018, their famous hit “Fake Love” held the record at no. 10 on the Billboard chart.
Also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan, the boy group debuted in 2013 with “No More Dream” as their debut song. BTS is composed of seven members: Rapmon, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
