Brown-Forman Celebrates Major Milestone with Spirits Launch
Following successful launches in Singapore and Malaysia and a landmark Guinness World Record partnership with Motel Mexicola in Bali, Indonesia, The Glendronach and Tequila Herradura, along with el Jimador and the rest of Brown-Forman spirits portfolio, celebrated yet another milestone with its launch in the Philippines held last December 5 in Southbank Cafe + Lounge, one of Asia’s Best Bars for 2024.

More importantly, we are excited for our Filipino consumers to experience these exquisite brands that embody craftsmanship and tradition,”
enthusiastically shared by Sally Goh, General Manager for Emerging Asia, as she opens the celebration.
With the prominent display of Brown-Forman’s choice super premium spirits and magnificent performance from the guest violinist, attendees were welcomed to an exquisite afternoon.
Spirits Tasting
The spirits tasting, the day’s highlight then commenced with Stuart Fear – Keeper of the Quaich, and Brown-Forman’s Regional Brand Ambassador and Prestige Development Manager. This unique tasting experience gave everyone the opportunity to learn more about and experience first-hand the craftsmanship of Brown-Forman’s scotches and tequilas.
The guests were first introduced to the colorful notes and rich history of The Glendronach, bringing the guests on a flavorful journey to the Highlands.

Stuart Fear starts as he introduces the scotches.
He then introduced the Tequilas with el Jimador Blanco and Reposado, and Tequila Herradura Reposado and Añejo – delighting everyone with a unique drinking experience.
“Everyone knows the increasing popularity in tequila among younger LDA drinkers here in the Philippines, and at Brown-Forman, we are fortunate to have el Jimador and Tequila Herradura in our portfolio to offer to the market. The two brands are dedicated to producing the best quality 100% Blue Agave Tequila, while offering a diverse portfolio to satisfy all drinkers. We hope that by experiencing our spirits we can impart our dedication to excellence on all the consumers throughout the Philippines.”
Attendees were also able to get a glimpse of some notable super premium selections – Glenglassaugh 47 years old, Benriach 30 years old, and The Glendronach Single Cask 29 years old.
The rest of the portfolio which includes Gin Mare and Diplomático rum, offered by the bar in signature cocktails and drink serves – Gin Mare Tonic and Rum Mule, while scotches, served neat and on the rocks. Mocktails made available to the guests, as well.
Brown-Forman’s portfolio of brands will be available soon in select liquor shops and supermarkets. Suggested retail price (SRP) will vary depending on the brand and the outlet.
For the scotches, The Glendronach 12 starts at Php 3,100.00, Glenglassaugh 12 at Php 3,700.00, and Benriach Original 12 at Php 3,100.00. For the Tequilas, el Jimador starts at Php 1,700.00, while Tequila Herradura starts at Php 2,800. Lastly, Gin Mare retails from Php 2,700, while Diplomático Rum retails from Php 1,400.00.
