Binibining Pilipinas crowns its 2023 Queens
And the Queens have been chosen! Congratulations to Angelica Lopez and Anna Valencia Lakrini for winning the crowns of Binibining Pilipinas 2023.
Staging its 59th edition, the pageant’s grand coronation night took place on May 28 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The event was hosted by beauty queens Catriona Gray, Nicole Cordoves, and MJ Lastimosa.
Binibining Pilipinas crowns its 2023 Queens
With only two titles left under its roster, Binibining Pilipinas introduced a competitive batch of 40 beautiful and inspiring candidates. With Angelica and Anna emerging victorious, all eyes will definitely be on them.
A 22-year-old Model from Palawan, Angelica succeeds outgoing Bb. Pilipinas International 2022 Nicole Borromeo. With Nicole set to compete at this year’s Miss International in Japan, Angelica will have an entire year to prepare for her competition.
If all goes well, she might fight for both a back-to-back win and our country’s eight Miss International crown.
Meanwhile, Anna will be the only reigning queen to compete this year as she will fly to Albania for The Miss Globe 2023. The 25-year-old Nutritional Scientist from Bataan will try to exceed Chelsea Fernandez’s Top 15 finish last year by bringing home our third crown.
Lastly, rounding up the top four are Katrina Johnson and Atasha Reign Parani. They finished first and second runner-ups, respectively.

Besides from the royalties presenting the pageant, Binibining Pilipinas 2023 was also graced by reigning Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg. Jasmin assisted in crowning the newest Bb. Pilipinas International.
Vice Ganda, Darren Espanto, and P-POP boy group Alamat served as special performers.
