Apple releases its new yellow color for the base iPhone 14 models — preorders available on March 10

So this is that time of the year when the famed tech brand Apple announces a new color to their latest lineup of the base iPhones which means that it does not include the Pro ones. And this year, it revealed that it would release a sunshine yellow for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, which is very reminiscent of the yellow iPhone 11 released in 2019.

With this, you can now choose between six colors for a new iPhone, namely the new yellow, alongside the original shades in the lineup—purple, blue, starlight, midnight, and Product Red.

Preordering the yellow iPhone 14 began on March 10 but will become available on March 14.

Apple’s VP of Worldwide Product Marketing Bob Borchers released a statement about the flagship product’s new color, saying, “People love their iPhone and rely on it every day for all that they do. Now, there’s an exciting addition to the lineup with a new yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.”

As we all know, the device has not changed in any way when it comes to its specs. Just the new color that the brand hopes to reignite the hype of the new lineup. The 14 and 14 Plus have the same specs featured in the 2022 Apple Event.

  • 6.1-inch screen for iPhone 14 with Ceramic Shield
  • Enhanced Workout Summary
  • Super Retina XDR Display
  • All-day battery life
  • A15 Bionic Chip
  • 12MP Main Camera and an Ultra-Wide Camera.
  • Meanwhile, the front has a TrueDepth camera.
  • Photonic Engine improves low-light photos.
  • Emergency SOS is free for two years on iPhone 14.

The iPhone 14 camera headlined with its two interesting features last year. Apple stated that the Action and Cinematic modes became its highlights. And of course, the device interests users with its use of satellites to send emergency SOS messages so that people can call for help in areas with low or no signal coverage.

All in all, with the new color of sunshine yellow, you are basically getting the same specs of the iPhone 14. This means that it will all boil down to aesthetics.

The question is if you did not buy the iPhone 14 last year, will this new color be enough for you to change your mind? Or does it act as a sign for you to get one? Kindly share with us in the comments section below.
