TikTok LIVE Celebrates Filipino Creativity at First TikTok LIVE Awards

TikTok LIVE celebrated Filipino creators who have built vibrant communities through storytelling, authentic conversations, and real-time interactions in the inaugural TikTok LIVE Awards in the Philippines. With over 20,000 active LIVE hosts nationwide, the awards marked a historic milestone for the Philippine creator community.
“We are proud of the Filipino TikTok LIVE creators who have used the platform to share their craft, build meaningful connections, and contribute positively to their communities,” said Yves Gonzalez, Head of Public Policy for the Philippines at TikTok. “The TikTok LIVE Awards celebrates authenticity, creativity, and community–attributes that have become the pulse of TikTok LIVE.”
Kamille Abesilla (@kamille0422), was recognized as the 2025 TikTok LIVE Creator of the Year, exemplifying excellence, authenticity, and positive influence within the community. In addition to her performance as a TikTok LIVE creator, Kamille was acknowledged for sharing helpful educational content for fellow creators, a testament to the community TikTok LIVE has built.

“I am deeply grateful to TikTok LIVE for giving creators like us not just opportunities, but hope and new beginnings. This platform has truly changed lives and opened doors I never imagined,” Abesilla said in her acceptance speech.
Ryssi Avila (@imryssi), who also represented the Philippines at the recently concluded TikTok LIVE Fest in Phuket, Thailand, received both the Community LIVE Creator of the Year and Global Recognition Awards, for her work in elevating Filipino talent to the global community.
“TikTok has given me international stages, greater exposure, and a real-time connection with my fans. My experience at TikTok Live Fest in Phuket was incredible; I loved meeting creators from around the world, celebrating our successes, and helping pave the way for Filipino creators on the global scene,” Avila mentioned.

Tommy Tiangco ( @tommytiangco__), recipient of the Smile and Service Award, also reflected on his journey with TikTok LIVE and how it has helped him make a positive impact on his community.
“At first, I just wanted to grow my followers and engagement, but as I explored TikTok LIVE, I saw how it builds deeper connections with my followers, which then became my online family supporting me in all of my ongoing and future advocacies and endeavours,” he said.
Meanwhile, BGYO bagged the Community Impact Award, showcasing their community growth through meaningful LIVE music experiences with their fans.
“Being TikTok LIVE creators has not only brought us closer as a group but also allowed us to share our music and personalities with our fans in a more authentic way. TikTok LIVE is such an amazing platform to showcase your talent, and we’re excited to keep going live and sharing more with our community,” they shared.
The TikTok LIVE Awards also gathered over 180 creators, partners, and livestreaming agencies across the Philippines. Other winners included:

- Digital Spotlight Award – GMA Gala of GMA Network (@gmanetwork)
