Kaladkaren

Kaladkaren, the first Transgender News Anchor

On June 12 of last year, Kaladkaren became the first transgender woman news anchor in the Philippines. Officially introduced at TV5’s Frontline Pilipinas. Carrying the pride of the LGBTQ+ community. She opened doors and inspired many by receiving the 5th VP Choice Awards’ News Anchor of the Year.

I thank VP Choice Awards for this recognition.
