Incoming anniversary of Taylor Swift’s album ‘folklore’
Attention to all Swifties! The 24th of July 2021 marks the first anniversary of the Artist of the Decade- Taylor Swift‘s eighth studio album entitled folklore. This surprise album brought more hype to the swifties as Taylor Swift announced about the album in her Instagram account last year.
“Most of the things I had planned this summer didn’t end up happening, but there is something I hadn’t planned on that DID happen. And that thing is my 8th studio album, folklore. Surprise 🤗”

According to Taylor in her Twitter account last July 24, 2020, the isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic has caused her imagination to run wild. Taylor also added: ‘I’ve told these stories to the best of my ability with all the love, wonder, and whimsy they deserve. Now it’s up to you to pass them down. folklore is out now.‘

It has been almost a year since Taylor surprised her swifties. In addition, she premiered the single from the album entitled cardigan on her official YouTube account. Moreover, 16 more tracks in the album have been uploaded at the same time as well. Also, the rest of the tracks contained lyric videos with a mellow background.
Moreover, Taylor used the ‘greyscale, woodsy images‘ to become the hint of the album’s delicate melodies and lower-range vocals. Among other albums, folklore has the most vulnerable, real, and meaningful songs that depicted her stories. Although, some songs from the album came from her wild imagination too.
In addition to her announcement on Instagram, Taylor also uploaded the rest of the titled tracks from folklore in her next post.

Can we all take a moment to appreciate one of Taylor‘s masterpieces as she spent her quarantine doing some quarantunes? Her creative mind has led her to make the whole album, making the year 2020 better especially for her swifties!
In addition, Taylor‘s swifties described her as the ‘Queen of Productivity’ as she released the different versions of the songs from folklore: ‘cabin in the candlelight version’, and ‘the long pond studio sessions’. Moreover, Taylor‘s productiveness led her to release the sister album of folklore, entitled evermore.

Last December 10, 2020, the same thing happened. From the announcement to the premiere of the single, up to the lyric videos on YouTube. Guess it would be safe to say that I think I’ve seen this film before– but we did like the ending!
