ABS-CBN News confirmed the report in a published article. According to the network, Jovit, who just turned 29 last October 16, battled with stroke complications in his final breath. His father expressed his lament in an interview,

Apart from having a stroke in November this year, Baldivino’s father also revealed that his son had an enlarged heart, a possible symptom of another health according to experts. He further recalled the events that led to his child’s departure.

Jovit priorly recovered after getting treatment for five days in a hospital. He even responded to an invitation to perform at a Christmas party in Batangas city, where he suffered another stroke after singing three songs.
