K-Pop “Successful” Stage Mistakes

No matter how many times fans view K-Pop idols as those god-like excellence! Eventually, mistakes are bound to happen for these artists from time to time, and that’s perfectly normal! Stage and technical errors do not define the idols’ skill and overall image to the cheering crowd. Some scenarios can be viewed as unfortunate accidents but sometimes they leave an iconic impression on the public.

Check out these K-Pop “successful” stage mistakes and prepare to be wonderstruck by how the idols handled them marvelously!

RED VELVET – Red Flavor twice the speed

It is two times the chaos! Supposedly, the cake girls are to dance to their song at 2x speed only during their chorus. The flavor truly hits differently when the technical prod accidentally plays Red Flavor for almost half of the duration! It was definitely not what the girls were expecting. But of course, Red Velvet, being the powerful queens, were able to speed dance their way until the end!

MAMAMOO – Starry Night to Decalcomanie real quick!

The show must go on for the spectacular quartet! When they were supposed to perform their dreamy Starry Night, but the burning Decalcomanie came first—well, that’s not a problem! MAMAMOO were born performers that can effortlessly slay their stage, right on the spot! This may be a mistake from the technical team, but this also shows how flexible the group’s skills are.

EXO Chen – Watch Out for his flip!

You better watch out, folks! Chen really lost his control during his solo performance, Watch Out, by accidentally slipping backwards. But he never backs out from falling down, turning it into an improvised backflip, and shouts, “You better watch out!” I hope you better watch out for your steps too, Chen! Overall, it was such an energizing performance that hyped the crowd like WOW!

STRAY KIDS Han – CASE 143 in a blender

It seems like our all-rounder Han not only forgets his lyrics sometimes but recently mixes them up this time! Transitioning from the Japanese to Korean lyrics of CASE 143 so smoothly that STAYs would hardly notice the cute confusion! Even the members were puzzled for a brief moment, as seen on stage. But what made it really enjoyable was that everyone was having a great time! It only shows how versatile Han is when it comes to switching up their lyrics, in whatever version it is!

SEVENTEEN Joshua – Pretty U is pretty opposite

The list isn’t complete if I don’t include Joshua Hong’s signature mistake turned into move for their Pretty U showcase! I am sure more than half of the K-Pop community population knows this perfection! Joshua makes one move ahead of the co-members at the back; flawlessly done, one might think it’s the original choreography! Because of the amazing results, the smooth mistake was even used a couple times!
