K-pop star Chung Ha is under self-quarantine after two of her staff members tested positive for the COVID-19 (coronavirus).

The two staff members showed symptoms of COVID-19 upon returning to Korea from their trip to Italy.

However, MNH Entertainment said in a statement she has tested negative for the virus. In fact, Chung Ha and the rest of the staff will go into self-isolation as per Korean Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDCP).

“All scheduled activities have been canceled for the time being and we will continue to take the best possible measures and deal with (it) faithfully,” it added.

Meanwhile, Chungha will miss an upcoming performance at the Head in the Clouds music and arts festival on March 7 in Jakarta following his quarantine. Organizer 88rising announced the cancelation via Twitter.

As of today, South Korea’s current number of COVID-19 reached 3,100. The country has been declared with the largest outbreak of the virus outside China.

Chung Ha rose to fame after finished fourth place in MNET’s girl group survival show Produce 101. She then became a member of the now-disbanded South Korean girl group I.O.I formed by the show itself. In fact, she has been a successful solo artist with some of her hits “Gotta Go”, “Snapping”, and “Roller Coaster” among others.
