Disney reveals First Eco Cruise Ship will be cruising Southeast Asia
What a dream! Disney introduces their first eco-cruise ship ready to gear up and sail the Southeast Asia waters in 2025.
The collaboration of the Singapore Tourism Board and Disney Cruise Line announced last March to homeport the newest Disney Cruise Ship in Singapore for at least five years.
What are we going to expect from the brand-new Disney Cruise Ship?
The shipping vessel will feature a whole new Disney experience, amazing guest service for all ages, and world-class dining. Of course, it would not be a Disney without sharing experiences with the Disney princesses, Captain Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Marvel Heroes, and many more.
Based on the announcement, the 208,000 eco-cruise ship expects to carry around 6,000 passengers and 2,300 crew members. Not to mention, it is the first ship that uses green methanol as a fuel for lower emissions. This is why it is eco-friendly.
Adventure awaits
At the annual Disney D23 Expo, the Signature Experience president Thomas Mazloum presented and revealed the name of the newest ship.
He also mentioned that it will be cruising around Southeast Asian waters. Mazloum unveils the name that will be called “Disney Adventure”. It is the seventh ship in the Disney Cruise line.
“The Disney Adventure is the perfect name for this magnificent addition to our Disney Cruise Line fleet, aboard the Adventure, families will go on a fantastical voyage across the sea, experiencing Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories, representing truly every corner of the Disney world and beyond,” Mazloum said.
Disney Adventure is still being under renovation and completed at the MV Werten shipyard in Wismar, Germany. It is the same company that built the three other Disney Cruises ships.
