For that, we got you a post V-day playlist: BTS Edition. Though, we can’t promise that this is all smiles and sunshine.

To all who love, this one’s for you!

Home

Another way of saying “I love you” is “you are my home”. Cheesy, cozy, and just comforting. After an exhausting day, who wouldn’t want to go to their Home?

My Universe (with Coldplay)

Gone are the days that you tell your person they are your ‘world’ for this song has taught us some level up.

Best of Me

If saying “I love you” is a song, it’s definitely this one. Contradicting to the song’s title and main phrase, the lyrics actually meant that “There’s no me without you You’re the best of me, the best of me…” Added to the adrenaline is the arrangement of the song that is just a must add to your happy day lovely playlist.

For You

A sweet love song from young BTS. For You is one of the early Japanese songs of the group and it surely makes every ARMY’s heart beat faster. This song is for those in long-distance relationships, all the right words for a special someone with the mellow tunes can surely ease one another.

Euphoria

Oh how lovely it is to know that you are the cause of their Euphoria! Jungkook’s solo from their hit album Love Yourself: Answer is a perfect song to affirm that someone’s presence gives you extreme excitement and happiness.

Heartbeat (BTS World)

The Official Sound Track of their game “BTS World”, a heartfelt and favorite masterpiece for many fans. Oh how sweet, though sometimes cringe, it is to hear “My heart’s on fire for your love” from a loved one, yes?

Make It Right

Assurance is something we look for in a certain relationship. Admit it or not, having that guarantee from your partner and your love for each other helps ease the anxiety you might be feeling. This song is BTS’ assurance of their love, especially for ARMY.

Trivia 承: Love

Group leader RM has poured his wisdom and sincerity for this song. And the Korean word play and metaphors will make you go in awe. Like a passage straight from a poetry book and perfect to write on love letters. Words like It’s a long way from I to U. F*ck, JKLMNOPQRST. I crossed all the letters and I reached you.”

Just One Day

You will surely know that one is an ARMY if they become fluent with Hangul the moment this song plays. A fun and genuine confession of wanting to be with someone even for Just One Day.

Crystal Snow

A song that proved yet again that BTS’ vocal line never disappoints. Sending shivers down your spine every time the band’s eldest Kim Seokjin hits those triple-high notes.

Love Maze

Love can be confusing and challenging. Like a maze that you and your partner will have to journey together. Decisions and situations sometimes lead to longer paths, others to a dead end. But as long as you love each other, even a maze can make you amazed.

Your Eyes Tell

“A future without you is a world without color.” This bitter-sweet masterpiece is the soundtrack of 2020 Japanese romance film “Your Eyes Tell”. The song confesses on how uncertain yet beautiful and hopeful it is to live as long as you are with your love.

Trivia 轉: Seesaw

Happy beginnings don’t always go to happy endings. When love becomes ‘a repeating seesaw game’, where hearts are getting dragged, would you be brave enough to stand up?

Fake Love

Finally realized that it’s only destroying you? Sometimes, we tend to hold on to the rose even though we’re already bleeding with the thorns. How do you know if it’s real or is it Fake Love?

I Need U

Younger BTS has really poured their soul for this song, their first win back in 2015 and the shift of the good things. A song with a strong sense of regret, longing, plea, pain, and love. The phrase “I NEED U” can be sweet and sexy, but they proved that one can speak it with such hurt it stings.

Let Me Know

A final goodbye and an honest plea for closure while reminiscing those lingering feelings. Another BTS song of love and heartbreak, Let Me Know is one of the tracks of the group’s first studio album DARK&WILD.

Love is Not Over

Another painful entry from BTS’ tear-jerking The Most Beautiful Moments in Life: Young Forever Album. Also one of the early proofs of Jungkook’s participation in producing their songs.

전하지 못한 진심 (The Truth Untold ft. Steve Aoki)

A song that is rich of metaphors but the pain is easy to understand. To be afraid is a scary thing, for love, it is like a curse that turns warmth into ice. The ‘chance’ turning to ‘regret’.

House of Cards

The tempting arrangement of tones and venomous voices are what makes this song so raw. A story where toxic or destructive relationships are addicting, yet both parties are aware things will be collapsing soon.

잡아줘 (Hold Me Tight)

This song paints how a person can lose their love due to their own actions. The moment they realize that time is up and already lost the battle, they’ll beg for one last touch. Saying “Hold Me Tight”, trying one last time to bring their other half back to them.

고엽 (Autumn Leaves)

Autumn, in many countries, is the time of the year where every tree is literally dying. Autumn Leaves is for all the failed relationships, even when you try to hold on, time will come that you will have to choose not to rot and just let go.

134340

You know it is Pluto, right? Understanding what happened to Pluto from being a planet to not is like a post-relationship realization. Once upon a time, you meant the world to someone, the next thing you know is that you are now far away and the label you had also changed.

Let Go

Theory is that the group released this song back then in 2018 along with the rumors of possible military enlistment. It wasn’t the case before, nevertheless, this Japanese song is a teacher and a reminder for those who love. The art of loving that is enough to let go.

Serendipity

At first look, this song screams like a serenade to a destined lover, another half. But if you’re an ARMY, Serendipity means loving oneself. Taking time and appreciating your own existence without waiting for anyone’s validation is like serenading yourself “let me love you.”

Epiphany

Claim it! You deserve it! All of us need to learn that loving ourselves is not selfish nor abnormal. It. Is. LOVE.

Answer: Love Myself

Nothing more to say. Just listen and feel it.

There is always more to your love story. May it be a romantic one with another person, platonic love, familiar love, or self-love, they are all worth it to be voiced out. Accompany yourself with some good music might make it a little better.
