He disclosed that he drew inspiration for the album’s title, ‘Sad Songs and Bullsh*t,’ from his own breakup with model Maureen Wrobletwitz.

Additionally, he explained in his Instagram post that the album initially began as a collection of love songs he had written for that special someone. As he had poured his heart and soul into their relationship.

However, his relationship with his former lover took a sour turn, causing those once-meaningful love songs to lose their true sense and meaning.

In JK’s words, the melodies of love transformed into a sense of sadness, ultimately leading to what he described as ‘bullsh*t.’

Nonetheless, JK has channeled his pain into empowerment, transforming heartbreaks into a breakthrough in his music career. This has led him to a well-deserved place on Spotify’s Top Songs Global Chart.
