‘Ayoko lang’ by Angelina Cruz is our newest post-breakup anthem
It’s been weeks since the release of Angelina Cruz‘s new song, ‘Ayoko lang’, and it’s still tugging at our hearts. A song that deals with the vulnerability of moving on, ‘Ayoko Lang’ is the perfect go-to ballad for this love month.
Forgetting an old flame go is never easy and Angelina delivers the song with both soul and passion. The 20-year-old recording artist carefully narrates having that empty feeling, those seemingly endless nights of sadness after a bad breakup.
Since breaking into music in 2017, the actress has had a successful career. Notably, her cover of Orange & Lemons’ “Hanggang Kailan” in 2018 garnered over 10 million Spotify streams and counting.
Working together for this project alongside Angelina are some biggest names in Music. August Rigo serves as the producer and composer whereas Ricky Tillo played the guitar. Both Filipino-Canadians, Rigo co-wrote BTS’ smash hit ‘Black Swan’ while Tillo is Lady Gaga’s tour guitarist.
Angelina and her Love Is Color Blind co-actor Jeremiah Lisbo star in the song’s music video. Check out the video below.
‘Ayoko Lang’ by Angelina Cruz is now out on all digital streaming platforms under Universal Records.

As a city and a beach person—when the sun is out—expect Vee to spend hours getting lost in the concrete jungle or laying by the shoreline with both finishing the day by watching a beautiful sunset.
